Music of the 1860s: Free Concert at Trinity Church

Program by Ampersand, a professional music duo from Valatie, NY, specializing in music of the 19th-century, particularly the Civil War era. Includes traditional parlor music, soldiers' camp tunes, and slave songs and features vocals, guitar, and folk instruments such as dulcimer, banjo, and mandolin. Free admission thanks to a grant from Dominion Virginia Power. Family-friendly. Sorry, no pets. Dinner boxes to-go or pre/post-show dining also available at the Lancaster Tavern by reservation (462-0080).
