3rd Annual "Meet the Artists"

3rd Annual "Meet the Artists" weekend event Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday Aug. 18 at the Taylor Building, 51 Cross Street, Urbanna. The opening reception will take place from 4pm until 7pm on Friday, Aug. 17. Wine and hors d'ouerves will be served. Artwork by local and regional artists will be displayed throughout this historic buildling while the artists will be on hand to greet visitors and patrons. An exciting art raffle will be included during the reception and discounts by merchants and salons will extend throughout the weekend with proceeds going to the Deltaville Maritime Museum's rebuilding efforts after the recent devasting losses by fire to the Museum. The art exhibit will extend throughout the day on Saturday, August 18 from 10am until 3pm with the artists on hand. For information call 804/758-1606.
